Witness Ministries
These ministries give attention to inviting and integrating
people into the "body of Christ" - the church. Focus is on
helping new people to feel welcome and new members to get involved in the life
of the church.
Greeters
These are the people who greet worshipers on Sunday morning. Members of
the congregation volunteer to be greeters for a specified number of
Sundays each year.
Ushers
These are the folks who give you a bulletin (order of service) and help
you find a seat. They direct you forward when communion is served and
collect written prayer requests at the appropriate time during the
worship service. Ushers can also answer questions and help you find your
way around.
First Church Brochure
This brochure is designed and produced by the First Church Witness
Ministries team. It is another means of reaching out to all peoples in
the name of Christ. The team welcomes your comments and suggestions.
