Communion

The offering plates at the front of the sanctuary during communion are for The Pastor's Discretionary Fund. These gifts are "aboveand beyond" your regular tithe to the church. The P.D. fund is used to help people with utilities, to renew a driver's license, with a bus pass or similar one time emergencies. We no longer use the funds for hotel rooms or food, but contribute to agencies which provide those needs. Anyone seeking help can make an appointment during the week to speak with the pastor. Thanks for your generosity.

In the United Methodist Church all are welcome to receive the bread of life and cup of blessing (grape juice).
Your offering or tithe to the church can be placed in the plate in front. (8:15)

All are invited to partake in communion. A piece of bread will be placed in your open hands. You may dip it into the cup or move to the communion rail for a separate cup of juice. Gluten-free wafers are also available. The plates at the front of the church are designated for the Pastor's Discretionary Fund.
