150th Celebration Completed

Reno First United Methodist Church has been in Reno for 150 years. We celebrated with a variety of exciting musical and worship events that were of interest to the community, as well as to church members.

See and hear Governor Sandoval's comments on the Church's Sesquicentennial Celebration.

See and hear Christopher Daniels portray the first minister of Reno First United Methodist Church, the Reverend Thomas McGrath.

Join With Us

Welcome to the Reno First United Methodist Church! Ours is a diverse congregation of almost 400 members actively seeking to discover what it means to live and work together as people of God.

We’d love to have you visit with us this Sunday. We have two services, a brief service at 8:15 (with no music which always includes communion), followed by an adult class at 9:00 in the Fellowship Hall. Our main service is at 10:00 (with our outstanding choir or other special music as well as a special message for the children) with a fellowship time following. We have a fellowship time following each service for visiting with our fellow members and visitors. We would love get to know you.

If you live in Reno or are thinking about moving here, explore our web site, visit our church and meet our congregration. See if Reno First might become your church home!

If you’re new, we hope this site will help you discover Reno First. If you’ve been worshipping with us for awhile, we hope this site will help you learn more about the church family you love.
